My Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Greetings to you all in Jesus name.

The lock down has forced me to pen down these words. Last year when people in India were struggling and suffering from the effects of lock down, we were enjoying freedom and having a good time with our children and newly born granddaughter in New Zealand. This year we are really locked up.

Well, the only one good thing about lock down is that we can spend some quality time at the Master’s feet and learn from Him, which otherwise we would have spend running up and down benefiting neither God nor man. But one of the many detrimental effects of the lock down is the lack of fellowship of the brethren which is essential for spiritual progress.

Only a serious thinking can understand how much the Church of God has deteriorated from the original mark, in this century. When the disciples asked Jesus about the signs of His coming and end of the world, Jesus said “Deception”. Deception is the first sign that his coming is near.

Mtt. 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceives you. 24. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; in so much that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25. Behold, I have told you before.

Christendom has been so polluted by false teachers and prophets that I fear of being mislead when I open the social media and TV channels as they are full of such preachers. The safest place I feel is to join Mary’s Bible College where you can learn spiritual truths and mysteries unveiled by the greatest teacher of all: Jesus Christ. Yes, there is nothing like sitting at the feet of Jesus and fixing our eyes on Him the author and finisher of our faith. Mary did, can we? Let us learn that. (Luke 10:42 but one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.)

In this evil age, with corrupted Church and Church management, the earnest Christian is in real danger, as he may over react to the evil practice around him and become a victim of cynicism.

Let me share with you a thought which caught my attention while reading the writings of AW TOZER, a great man of the great God, who lived in the last century.

It is a fact that God has few holy separated men here and there in this downtrodden spiritual world of today. When he sees corruption and evil among the religious hypocrites of today, he may oppose and over react in his eagerness to keep the Church holy and blameless. But nobody agrees with him and he will be branded as a cynic and critic. Slowly he slides into a condition of chronic bitterness and comes at last to accept it as normal. He is hundred percent right and just but nobody accepts him. What is the cure for this sour fault finding attitude which branded him as cynic and critic by the religious leaders. Cultivate the habit of thanks giving says Tozer.

Thanks giving has a great curative power. A heart that is overflowing with gratitude will be safe from the attacks of resent fullness and gloom that bother so many. A thankful heart cannot be cynical. Occasionally we can spend a whole day in the holy practice of being thankful. We should write down one by one the things for which we are grateful to God and our fellow men. And a constant return to this thought during the day as our minds get free will form a habit in our hearts of thanks giving.

Well we can be grateful and thankful to God for so many things like God’s plan of salvation for us, for giving us the Bible and Holy Spirit to make us understand it. Also for the Church, good spiritual teachers, faithful pastors and hymnists, helpful and precious Sunday services. It is not difficult to count our many blessings but finding time to enumerate them all is difficult. We can also thank our parents for our life and upbringing and our diametrically opposite life partners, whom God arranged for us to teach us patience and our wonderful children and grand children who are faithfully carrying on the baton we have handed over to them. Is there anything more satisfying and blessed than seeing the generations following Christ faithfully. The list is endless. You can also thank god for our teachers, patriots, statesmen and numerous unknown soldiers who have shed their blood to keep our country free. There are numerous things to be grateful for and never forget to thank your critics and let God know that you are grateful for everything.

Therefore let me come to the point and conclude this session.

All ye remnants of the Lord unite and fight against the religious minded hypocrites ruling Christendom today and lead them to spiritually minded and Christ centered life. Let us fight in unity against gates of hell and save the Church from the clutches of Satan. My vision is to bring back the Church to its original track and I want every one of you who read this to contribute your share to achieve this goal.

Jeremiah 6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, we will not walk therein.

I request every one of you to do some serious thinking and spend time at the Master’s feet and share what you receive from the Lord so that I can collect them all and publish them in my next blog. Don’t say I am busy because nobody can be freer than now. (To be busy means to be Bound Under Satan’s Yoke)

As terrible times are around, let us change our attitude and become united to fight against our common enemy. When leaders are talking about one world, one religion and one currency etc., we have to be extra careful. Please respond by giving your views as to how the Church can be brought back to God’s normal.
